This course is for employees who will be using Rusle2 on a regular basis. The course will be taught by Dave Lightle, Gleen Weesies, Kerry Goodrich, and the Area Agronomists.

UT0042 Session 0001 Nutrient/Pest Management Training 04/13/2004 - 4/15/2004
This is the completion of the Introduction to Nutrient and Pest Management Track I and Track II Series which are internet based self study courses.  Contact Kerry Goodrich for more information.

Nutrient/Pest Management In-State Training to be held in either Ogden or Salt Lake April 13-15. The Pest Management would be the 13th and the Nutrient Management the 14th and 15th.

UT0034 Session 0001 Agronomy Short Course 05/18/2004
This training consists of an overview of Agronomy in Utah. It covers all agronomic topics that are addressed in conservation plans in Utah.

UT0044 Session 0001 Conservation Planning Course 05/17/2004 - 05/21/2004
The purpose of this course is to provide basic conservation planning training to over 40 NRCS and UACD employees in 2004.  The Conservation Planning for New Employees course will be offered twice, to employees identified as eligible for this course. The prerequisites are to successfully complete the online Conservation Planning course number 000019 training located at http://www.nedc.nrcs.usda.gov/catalog/consplan.html, and the Introduction to Field Office Technical Guide course located at http://www.nedc.nrcs.usda.gov/fotg/index.html  Please contact Lisa Coverdale for more information.

UT0043 Session 0001 Hydrogeomorphic (HGM) Approach to Assessing Wetlands Functions 07/12/2004 - 07/16/2004
This workshop is taught by the US Army Corps (US Army Engineer Research and Development Center Vicksburg, MS) sponsored by Hill AFB Natural Resources group. The course focuses on Slope – Spring and Seep Fed Wetlands of the Great Basin.

UT0045 Session 0001 Introductory Irrigation Training 10/04/2004 - 10/08/2004
This course will provide the student with basic irrigation training involving various types of systems including: center pivot, wheel line, hand line, and linear. This course will also explore irrigation water management concepts.  Please contact Neil Pellmann for more information.
