In addition to the above resource concerns, two geographical priority areas have been identified:Spanish Fork River Watershed/Thistle Creek Sub-WatershedThe coordinated resource management plan for Spanish Fork River and Thistle Creek, identified the following major resource concerns: nutrient management planning, streambank restoration, rangeland health, efficient irrigation systems, noxious week control, wildlife habitat and species, public health, and water quality. A local ranking criteria template for this watershed has been developed. The cost share rate for this priority area is 50%. The ranking criteria and screening process may be viewed at the link below:
