Colorado River Salinity Control Program (CRSCP)Key Provisions:Provides cost share and some technical assistance to apply salinity control practices and wildlife habitat replacement. Program lead by Bureau of Reclamation, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Colorado River Salinity Control Program Forum through State Agriculture Department and Soil Conservation Districts. Federal funding is provided through earmarks in EQIP. Eligibility:Land contributing to salinity in the Colorado River system. Colorado River Salinity Control Monitoring Reports Available: NEW!!The 2005 Colorado River Salinity Control Program monitoring reports are available for both the Price San Rafael and Uintah Basin Units in Utah. The monitoring reports are an annual and cumulative progress summary of the funding, contracts, and practice implementation in each of the approved salinity control units. Monitoring activities include the effects of project implementation to salt loading in the Colorado River, effects to wildlife habitat, and economic data that identifies the cost effectiveness of the program for the agricultural producers and the government.
