Weber
County Resource Assessment
Weber County consists of about 160 square miles. The county has a population
of a little over 185,000 which includes the Ogden metropolitan area- the second
largest city in the state. This central location provides unparalleled access to
the Salt Lake International Airport, Hill Air Force Base, Antelope Island and
the Great Salt Lake and other cultural, retail, commercial, entertainment and
recreational opportunities within Weber County's 15 cities.
The Weber and Ogden Rivers are located in the county and provide most of the
irrigation water used in the area.
Average low winter temperatures: 21.5 degrees; average high summer
temperatures: 87 degrees; average precipitation: 16.44 inches.
